What was covered in this live

In this webinar, Cédric Tumminello (Hello Mira) talks with Daniela Morán, a Venezuelan advertising professional who has worked remotely for five years for companies in Latin America, Europe and the United States, and who coaches professionals through her project Dani Trabajando Remoto. Daniela explains how she started during the pandemic, after the publishing house she worked for closed: she wrote a pitch, contacted brands on Instagram and landed her first community manager job with a company in Puerto Rico. She also talks about the less visible side of remote work: 12- to 15-hour days leading a team spread across several time zones, the importance of setting boundaries, and the difference between freelancing (more freedom, less stability) and being employed by a company (more security, but a ceiling). To land a remote job, she explains how applicant tracking systems (ATS) screen CVs and shares five concrete habits: give your role a clear title, use the keywords of your field, show proof and results rather than promises, have a LinkedIn profile that blends the professional and the personal, and keep a regular application routine. She also answers the most common questions: English opens more doors but is not mandatory, and what matters most is your skills. She recommends asking for feedback after every interview and using AI with a critical eye. On working while travelling, she describes how she organised three months as a digital nomad between Venezuela and Colombia: work in the morning, explore in the afternoon, keep weekends for longer trips, and choose destinations that fit your clients' hours. The live ends with a presentation of the Medellín masterclass that Daniela will lead in Spanish with Hello Mira.
